The Lord who welcomes sinners
“This man”, they said, “welcomes sinners and eats with them.” One of the dangers with religion is that it can be thought of as for good, holy people. And one of the lovely aspects of Christianity, especially as experienced within our Catholic tradition, is that it is for sinners.
Dolores Mc Elhone (née O’Neill) , RIP, 4 Beechland Drive Clady, Portglenone, 24th February 2025 (peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving family), beloved wife of Seamus, much loved mother of John, loving mother in law of Leona,
precious granny of Éabha and dear sister of Mary Jane, Anthony, Seamus, Dennis, Martin, Rosaleen, Susan, Peggy and the late Charlie, Henry and Eugene.
Dolores’s wake will officially begin at her late residence on Wednesday 26th February at 7pm. Her remains will
Brigid McCann (née Downey), RIP, 20 Beechland Park, Clady, Portglenone, (peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving family) beloved wife of the late Paddy, much loved mother of Colin, Anne (Cassidy), Fiona (Daly), Siobhan (Molloy), Eamon and
Noel and loving sister of Annie (McCrystal), Edward, Eamon, Kathleen (Coyle), Jean (MacOscar), Patrick and the late Peggy (Shaw) and Mary Ann (Fitzsimmons).
